Summer Lovin – Bulgaria – Sunny Beach 2007

Heeeeeeey blog!!!

If you know me you know i hate winter and love summer, yeah, i am the original “boy of summer“. I went to Bulgaria a few years ago, strange country. I wrote a review on it which you can find on my blog. Anyway here are some more pics from my phone from the past…Here you will see my amazing hotel, the best hotel i have ever stayed in probably, shame i cant say the same about Sunny Beach.

My hotel, was the Majestic. Its the one on the right of the pic and painted partially pink. These are two of the best (and biggest) hotels in the resort. I cant say for the other one, but the Majestic was amazing, people said it was the best.

Here is is closer up…As you can see, i was quite far away, and still couldnt fit it into the pic! Look at the nice blue sky, aaaaaaaah…

This is my room, it was amazing. It was called a “residance” not a room or apartment. They are (or were) actually available to buy.

My nice bathroom with my products. Look at how clean and tidy i am! LOL! :mrgreen:

This is where the magic happens! :mrgreen: My super soft, super lush bed. I miss it ;)

    Im going to sunny beach on the 19th of july for a week.I will be staying at the Meridian hotel.I have heard good things & bad things about it,but Im easy pleased so there shouldnt be any problems.I am travelling on my own,so will get out & about on tours of the country.
    I will be probably be visiting some prostitutes (any tips?,LOL).
    The nightlife seems to be good as well,but I wont get to drunk,hopefully,LOL again.

    The only word which comes to mind when you say you are going to Sunny Beach alone is “Insane!” :mrgreen:

    If you want prostitutes and you go out alone at night i cant see you having a problem finding one :D

    Make sure all your affairs are in order before you leave :mrgreen:

    Hi Michael im thinking of going to sunny beach next year (July 2011), whats is it like? Ive been to places like Ayia napa last year, there its young people getting drunk every day, parties on the beach in the day, clubs at night and after party’s after that, so none stop partying booze cruises etc, plus activities on the beach etc also renting quad bikes & going wherever you want,is Bulgaria similar to this, or are the clubs & attitude of the people a bit less toned down?

    Hi Michael,

    I find your blog useful for my visit to sunny beach. Can you elaborate more on the drink prices inside night club and discos? people have different view of whats cheap and expensive around the world, so compared to UK, what is an average drink cost in the club?

    about prostitutes, are they also inside night clubs? meaning if i’m at a club and approach girls or dance with them, do i have to worry whether they are real girls or prostitutes?
    what do u recommend is the safest way to stay out of trouble from getting mugged, in fights or with the law? i am travelling with 3-4 guys.

    and lastly, aside from the main beach, what are some other locations to visit for nice scenic views? perhaps outside sunny beach, within few kilometers? i noticed there are no mountains around, is it a pretty flat land?
