Busy Weekend, Sorry For The Bad Updates!

Posted by Michael on Sunday 16th October, 2011

Sorry for the bad blog updates! :( I have had a busy/tiring weekend. I was out last night, and drank quite a bit and felt rather drunk :P I cannot drink as much as I used to, shit I am getting old

I woke up this morning at 6AM to watch the Formula One which was good, Vettel won, what a surprise! :P It was a good race. After having a little nap I watched the Newcastle match, and it finished 2-2, which super Shola Ameobi coming off the bench to score probably the goal of his life. He was like a man possessed, maybe Lionel Messi took over his body or something :D

Now I am going to read some blogs. I havent read any for days, I hate it when that happens, I feel like I am missing out on things :P

Do you have a blog? Let me know and I will add it to my reading list if its interesting ;)

Late To Bed, Early To Rise

Posted by Michael on Saturday 15th October, 2011

Good morning blog readers :)

This morning I got up early, I had to go and collect my package from the delivery office, there was a massive queue, I don’t usually go on Saturdays, I wont do any more either! :P I got my Senna Blu Ray, I missed the delivery through the week. The office closes at 10AM on a Saturday, which is why I had to go early.

Last night I was at Costco, and there were the fireworks for the Metro Centre. I did not know they were on, so it was a complete coincidence that I saw them! But there were hundreds of cars parked all over the place to watch them! Talk about luck LOL :P

I also found that massive and cool skull in Costco. I did not buy it, but it looks really cool, maybe I will get it next time.

It is sound activated, and the eyes light up and it makes noises. Quite a cool little prop for Halloween right? :P

Hello blog :)

Happy weekend! :P Today I did the usual work, and then headed off to the game shop and bought Forza 4 for my XBOX. I hardly played the last game, because I hardly play any games these days. I think I actually only played the last one once, on the day I got it, and never played it again :P So, probably not the best £40 I spent. But this year’s is a bit different, it has the Top Gear Test Track on it :) That will be lots of fun, since I like watching Top Gear I will be trying to beat celebrities times :P I haven’t played it yet, I will do later, so we will see what it is like then.

Today I am wearing:

  • Super Mario T Shirt
  • Generic Scarf
  • Pepe London Jeans
  • Converse Trainers
  • Junk De Luxe Cardigan

Forza 4!! :P

I also got this really nice knit from Zalando. It is Tiger Of Sweden, what do you think? I love it :)

Extreme close-up!!! :P

Fashionable Purchases Today

Posted by Michael on Thursday 13th October, 2011

Yesterday I ordered some things from ASOS and they have come today :) Take a look at what I have; Lots of jeans, a knit top and even some ties! :P

A pair of True Religion jeans with some very distinct stitching. I love these, and have been looking at getting them for a while, and finally got round to it. “Billy Super T” jeans from True Religion.

V Neck Knit from Junk De Luxe. I have blogged about this before, so finally bought it. It is of good quality, just as I expect from Junk De Luxe. I need some semi-smart knits for day-to-day and work etc.

Pepe Jeans. I have never bought this brand, they are famous and iconic of course and go way back, but I never found many retailers who stock them. I found these and like the wash, something a little different, they are a nice loose fit.

Cheap Monday, could be my favourite high street brand which I have never actually seen on the high street! :P These are a little more raw than what I usually go for, the wash is much lighter than I usually get too; But I wanted some variation in my jeans, so picked these up :)

My second pair of True Religion Jeans for today :P These are super smart black “GONO” jeans, so comfortable. I love True Religion, they are premium, but you can tell where your extra money goes.

Finally two ties…Ties?! I am not much of a tie person, but I have a few smart (plain) shirts now and thought these would go well with them if I want to smarten things up; They are skinny fashionable ties as you can see. Silver and purple.

So there you go! :) I am happy with my purchases, everything fits and I love all of em, no need to send anything back for once :P I probably won’t need any more new jeans for a while either ;)

Wednesday 12th October 2011

Hello lovely blog readers :)

So today I got up extra early and went to work, I have had to get back quick so I could be in to receive a parcel, more of that later ;)

Last night I watched the Spain – Scotland game which was great, and I blogged about the night’s other football action. I drank some of my Cava which I won a while back, it was alright I suppose, it’s no Cristal ;)

Here is what I wore today:

  • Custom Varsity Jacket
  • Monkee Genes Jeans
  • Jaeger Knit
  • Converse Trainers

I really need to fix my hair when taking a pic, this was after coming in from the windy weather we have :P

So the thing I have been waiting for are custom made beer mats for my company. I designed them, nice and simple, and got them made from a company in Germany. They are cool and good to give away to my customers. They took over a month to come, so I am so glad I finally have them.

That is the back and front, 2 sides printed. The back has lots of “funny drinking slogans” which I also print on t-shirts. I think it is a cool idea, I got it when a company sent me some things, they threw in some free stuff like beer mats and I thought it was a really nice thing to do. Since I do lots of “going out” t-shirts I thought this would be a good idea. The front, if you want to call it that, says “Funny Fashion”

ASOS Womens Mid Season Sale A/W 2011

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 12th October, 2011

I blogged earlier about the great ASOS Sale, with lots of men’s clothing which I like. I do not write much about women’s fashion because, well, I am not a woman  But I have some girly readers, so here are some things I picked out of the ASOS mid season sale in the women’s section.

I am not a womens fashion expert or a fashionista, I just know what I like the look of  ;)

All available to buy from ASOS now.

No More Internet Porn For UK Households

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 12th October, 2011

I heard about this story yesterday, and it made me laugh. Britain, which could be the least liberated country in the EU, could take another step, all to “protect” innocent minds. Four of the top UK ISPs are going to have an “opt out” policy for dodgy websites when you sign up, but the government aren’t satisfied, and want an “opt in” policy; Basically censoring what you read and look at online, and you have to go to big brother government to ask permission if it’s alright to view content.

WOW! Talk about taking one giant leap backwards. Next we will have to put our hand up if we want to go to the toilet! :D

This however will not stop horny teenage boys viewing content in the school playground on a smart phone, which many teens have, I guess this is just something else the Government haven’t thought through.

Euro 2012 Qualifying – Great Night

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 11th October, 2011

It was a great night tonight in the Euro 2012 qualifiers; Spain beat Scotland 3-2 with ease, and there were some results which pleased me.

Denmark beat Portugal to take the automatic spot in their group, Bosnia almost beat France, who got a penalty with 12 minutes to go and the game ended 1-1, so Bosnia will head to the playoffs. The result of the night has to be Sweden 3 – 2 Netherlands. A great victory for Sweden making them the best 2nd placed team, and automatically qualifying for Euro 2012.

Qualified

Poland
Ukraine
Germany
Russia
Italy
France
Netherlands
Sweden
Greece
England
Denmark
Spain (holders)

Playoffs

Turkey
Republic of Ireland
Estonia
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Croatia
Montenegro
Portugal
Czech Republic

The draw for the playoffs will be made this Thursday, and the games will be played next month. Unfortunately for the playoffs I think the “UEFA Cheat System” is in place, i.e. seedings and not an open draw. This will spoil the draw, so you can expect to see something like Portugal vs Estonia which is a disgrace really; It should be open and fair.

The night belongs to Sweden though, stopping Netherlands winning streak in the group.

Pink Pepsi – Strawberry And Milk

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 11th October, 2011

This has been doing the rounds in the blogs world recently…

It is Pink Pepsi, which has been launched in Japan. Strawberry and milk flavour? Sounds interesting, I don’t know if I will love or hate it, but I’d guess it would be a love/hate kind of taste.
