Hello blog :)

So I am still watching my Big Bang Theory DVDs. I am into Season 2, about half way through :P I can watch them when I am working, nice distraction ;)

Winter is officially here, I have to say. It was rather frosty this morning, and really cold. I think we are going to get sub zero temperatures soon.

Here is what I wore today:

  • Junk De Luxe Knit
  • Dolce And Gabbana Shirt
  • Cheap Monday Jeans

My new Junk De Luxe knit, I love it :)

Tonight I will watch the Champions League, dunno which match to watch yet.

More pics this way…

New Project For Custom Work – Renford Rejects

Posted by Michael on Wednesday 19th October, 2011

I love custom stuff, and since I can make my own t-shirts and other clothing that is what I love to do. I have done a few things in the past, here is a small sample of what I have done…

You can read about all of these in my blog, where I have blogged about them as I have done them over the past 2 years or so.

Now I have a new challenge, and it comes in the form of…

The Renford Rejects!

I LOVED that show as a kid, if you have no idea what it is you are either too young or you had no childhood! ;) It was a UK show about school kids who were in a 5-a-side football team, it was so good :P You can search YouTube and watch the episodes.

Anyway…I want a Renford Rejects football shirt! Well, there is no such thing, and no hope of getting one either since the programme is over 10 years old. So the only solution is to create one. So here is my concept.

Renford Rejects football shirt for 2011/12. I know the original supplier of their shirts, I checked them out and they do not make the shirts any more. In fact, I couldn’t find a single supplier who did shirts in the original colour of the Renford Rejects, black and purple stripes :( This presents the obvious problem, it will loose a bit of it’s authenticity. Here is what the original shirts look like:

Here are the contenders for the “new” shirt which I will use…

So nothing like what the original was like :( But its an “updated” shirt for 2011, so we will say they have changed their colours, or style, which some teams have done in the past. I may do two shirts, a home and an away. I cannot decide which colour to go for. I think maybe the first pic, blue and black, it is probably the closest to the real one. Unfortunately I have searched high and low for ANY kind of black and purple vertical striped shirts, and cannot find a single one.

I will need to create a simple logo for the badge, print a sponsor “Supra Drain” of course, and I will do a name and number on the back even though the originals didn’t have one.

If you have any ideas or suggestions let me know :) I will be posting the shirt when I have done it, can’t wait :D

Tuesday 18th October 2011

Hey blog :)

So today I have already blogged a bit, and also done some work. I have showed my Batman T Shirt, what do you think? I have done other designing work too, for future t-shirts for work.

Today I wore my CSKA Moscow shirt, because, earlier they played, and won 3-0! Their first win in the Champions League this season. How great :P

  • CSKA Moscow Shirt
  • Cheap Monday Jeans
  • Converse Trainers

Wearing light wash colour jeans with distressed rips, not my usual style :P I have blogged before about having a variation of jean styles, since most of mine are the same kind of wash, which I do love. No product in my hair. I decided to give it a break LOL. It was so much easier when I used to have a shaved hair haha. :D

My first pair of Converse which I don’t wear too much. I like these though, Suede, they are really comfortable.

When In Doubt, Call Batman ;)

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 18th October, 2011

I saw a cool design for a t-shirt, and decided to put my spin on it and create something just like it:

Keep Calm And Call Batman! I saw someone made something like this, and thought it was funny, so made one too! :P It is obviously a parody on the Keep Calm And Carry On posters which have now became popular once again, and have led to a massive number of spin offs like “Keep Calm And Stay Reem” a parody of The Only Way Is Essex of course ;)

I think it’s cool, rather simple to do, and printed in lemon yellow which is a bright yellow which I have.

Canada Goose Jacket For Sale?

Posted by Michael on Tuesday 18th October, 2011

So I often keep check of which posts on my blog are being read the most, and a few posts I made about my Canada Goose jacket are now the most popular being read, I guess since people are wanting a winter coat.

Well, I may sell mine! :(  When I bought it last year the only one I could get my hands on was the melton wool style, which is really good, and actually more expensive, but I would prefer a poly/cotton shell. So I may sell my Canada Goose jacket and buy another one, in a different style.

It is in perfect condition, so if you are in the UK and are looking for a Canada Goose jacket then send me an email, and I will get back to you :) It is a size LARGE.

I have ALL the official tags, certification number and official book which came with the jacket (see my original post, link below for the pics).

If you wanna see more pics and my original post then see this post:

http://www.michael84.co.uk/canada-goose-jacket-yes-i-got-one/

As you can see I was happy to have it, LOL ;)

Any other questions you can ask me via email :) This is an official authentic Canada Goose, in mint condition, so no silly offers please ;)

Jeremy Scott For Adidas & Other Adidas Fashion

Posted by Michael on Monday 17th October, 2011

I saw searching around the Adidas store and found these.

It is Adidas by Jeremy Scott. It certainly is distinctive! There is the zip up Leopard print track top, the matching track pants and a tuxedo jacket. The leopard track jacket actually looks quite cool, with the back having 3 scratch marks on like it is from straight out the jungle. The track top is £120 with the matching pants at £70, and the tuxedo jacket is £220.

If those are too loud for you, I found two other things which I like:

I love this hoodie. Adidas are doing it in 3 different colours, and I think it looks really nice. Only £43. They have also jumped on the varsity jacket band waggon with this jacket, available in black as above and red with white sleeves. £70.

Hey blog readers! :)

So last night I watched the Senna blu ray, which was good. If you like Formula One then it is a really good watch. When Senna and Prost were racing I was really young so did not know much of the history between the two, so it was really good to learn about it. I love the old F1, especially from the 90s, they sometimes show highlights on F1 race weekends on BBC red button which is cool.

This is what I wore today:

  • DR Denim Shirt
  • All Saints Cardigan
  • Pepe Jeans
  • Ray Ban Sunglasses

Check out all the alcohol on my wardrobe, haha ;)

Saturday Night I Was Wearing… (15th October 2011)

Posted by Michael on Monday 17th October, 2011

I did not post up what I wore Saturday night since I was tired :P So here it is:

  • Smart Jacket from H&M
  • Johnny Drama T Shirt from Entourage (“I’ve been working steady for the past 12 years….Minus the last three”)
  • True Religion Jeans
  • D&G Watch

Some girl came up to me on Saturday night and said “I really love that guy on your t-shirt” hahahaha!! It was hilarious :P

Some Really Nice Knits From Zalando

Posted by Michael on Monday 17th October, 2011

I really like Knits for this coming autumn and winter. They are stylish of course, and keep you warm as well as looking smart. A sleek and smooth V neck can be complimented with a shirt underneath to give it more of a formal look, or a rounded neck knit can be worn on it’s own, and looks the part with a smart jacket.

Here are some knits I have found on Zalando:

The first is a ribbed cotton knit from edb by Esprit. This is available in a variety of colours, grey is pictured above. This is a more informal choice, and is only £44.95 available here.

The second is an ultra-smart offering from Marco Polo. This fine knit is available in 6 colours including black as pictured above, and is made from 100% wool. This one costs £200 and is available here.

The third is a white knit by Tommy Hilfiger. Get a preppy look with one of these which come in different colours, match it up with a shirt and you have a great look. It is priced at £90.

I picked up this knit by Tiger Of Sweden, I blogged about it earlier, and I love it!

Really good quality fine knit jumper from Tiger Of Sweden. You can see it here. It is also available in beige and red, but I like this in black. It will go very well with a shirt, cool fashion for the winter ;)
