Big Brother and that Ice Skating show

Posted by Michael on Monday 11th January, 2010

Whats been going on in the house and on the ice…

  • In Celebrity Big Brother Katia and Jonas aka Basshunter were kissing and having a house-romance, only for Katia to decide she wanted to cool it off and be friends.
  • Ivana Trump has went into Celebrity Big Brother, taking some HUGE Louis Vuitton cases with her!
  • Dancing on Ice started, which is the worst show ever. Sinitta went out, which i was happy about :D Would have rather seen hop along Mills go out though

Ice Skating on the paths

Posted by Michael on Monday 11th January, 2010

The ground is soo slippy! now most of the snow is gone, or going, the paths are covered in ice! Its the slowest i have ever walked today, i walked more than a mile, and it took about 2 hours! It would normally only have taken around 40 minutes. But, i did not fall over once, which i was impressed with :D

I wish it would all go away, so i could start running again! I havent done that for ages :(

Another Pro Wrestler dies :(

Posted by Michael on Monday 11th January, 2010

What the hell goes on in the world of wrestling?! I heard today that ex WWE (or WWF as it was then) wrestler Ludvig Borga has died, at only 47. I used to love WWF when i was a kid, so i have decided to look up all the stars who have passed away, and some of them i didnt even know about. Here is a list of just a few, all died too young, many with some drug influence into their death.

Crash Holly – 32
Test – 33
Owen Hart – 34 (Died during ring entrance which went wrong)
Yokozuna – 34
Umaga – 36
Eddie Guerrero – 38
Davey Boy Smith – 39 (British Bulldog)
Chris Benoit – 40
Rick Rude – 41
Big Boss Man – 42
Earthquake – 42
Crush – 43
MR Perfect – 44
Bam Bam Bigelow – 45
Andre the Giant – 46
Hawk – 46 (legion of doom)

And it’s not just men, women too…Miss Elizabeth and Sherri, who were prominent in wrestling in the 90s as occasional wrestlers and managers, have also passed away.

Sidney Samson Riverside boring

Posted by Michael on Sunday 10th January, 2010

I saw the 2009 TMF Awards the other day, and Sidney Samson was performing (term used loosely) with the song of some peoples summer, Riverside. I like the TMF Awards, this year there was Sylver Lasgo and Milk Inc, with great performances as usual. For Riverside being such a club song, it was possibly the worst performance i have ever seen of any ‘hit’. It was so boring, it did nothing!! See for yourself below.

Riverside has gone into the UK chart (only about 6 months later) at number 2, which coincidently is what i would describe the song as if i was in a really kind mood.

Worst performance ever…

Pathetic Britain Cant Cope with Snow

Posted by Michael on Thursday 7th January, 2010

So, We have had a lot of snow over the past week or so, and really bad snow over the past 3 days. BUT Scandinavian and other cold countries get this and worse weather all the time, so why can GreatBritain not cope? The other week the euro star train couldn’t work because the snow was too fluffy, and now we see people staying off work, business staying closed, services not running and schools being closed…Some schools have told their kids not to bother going back until at least Monday.

Why can this country not cope? It seems really lazy to me, that people are staying off work making no effort to get in. This is heard by some companies, with there “no work no pay” attitude which basically means if you don’t go because of the snow they wont pay you. This is hard on some people who make an effort and genuinely cant get in.

Now we hear that the salt/grit is being rationed so we dont run out…rationed?! Is it 1945 again? We are into 2010 and we are being defeated by weather…According to some, the snow in this past week alone has cost the economy £1Billion.

What do you think of “the great blizzard of britain 2010″? a massive over-reaction, as normal from this country?

The Followup to one of the best songs of 2009 “Whatcha Say” is In My Head. Jason Derulo has talent, i like this song. Only heard it once or twice so far, so its a bit of a grower, i like Whatcha Say better. There is no video for this song yet, but it is supposed to be his next release, and an album will also follow.

Bye Bye Wossy :(

wossy

Jonathan Ross, probably the best thing on BBC, is to leave. The news has been flying all over Twitter, that he has decided not to re-negotiate his contract when it runs out in July. I cannot blame him for leaving the heavily-policed, too politically correct BBC.

That means there is no Film 2010 or Flagship chat show, these will both be filled by someone else, I would imagine someone like Graham Norton will take over the chat show, he already has one at the BBC afterall. There are not many other personalities who could fit such a roll.

As for Jonathan Ross, i hope we see him on another channel soon, i cant imagine who wouldnt want him, because he has a huge following which would support him. He can go to another channel without the strains of the BBC and give us an even better show.

What do you think of this news?
