So i have had a PS3 for a year, and a HD tv for even longer. But i my old Philips HD TV (with an ambilight) was keep breaking, so a few months back i went all out and got a 40″ Sony Bravia Z Series. I have to say the picture is amazing! Games, TV and DVD all look amazing. I havent had any Blu Ray movies, until today. I have bought a few, and just watched Sin City which i have on DVD. The DVD looks great, and the Blu Ray looks good too, but does it look that much better? It is hard to say. It was also annoying, instead of watching the film i was looking to see if i could spot any details or if anything looked much better.

The reason i bought Sin City again was because it got lots of reviews saying how good it looked in HD…But it looked good before hand!

I will watch a few more Blu Rays before i decide on how much better, if at all, it is. I got Fast and Furious, Bruno, and Swordfish.
