It is quite unusual, I have not seen it in many places, so it’s cool to have. I also saw Smirnoff Black, but I already have too many plain vodkas to get through before I should buy more!

Today has been a bit of a busy old day. The usual work with a bit extra, and lots of blogging since the England squad was announced today, what did you think?

In support I wore my Spain polo shirt ;) I really like this top, it is a smart thing to wear in comparison to a football shirt. They went that extra mile by hiding the buttons with a clever design to give it an even smarter edge.

Today’s fashion trends:

It was really sunny but not so warm, even so I did not bother with a jacket, although I probably should of since it was only about 10C. The weather is a disgrace at the moment, middle of May and snow in some places!? According to my phone it’s not gonna get any better, rain for the next few days

I don’t usually eat breakfast, maybe a biscuit or piece of chocolate but that is all. I picked up some Dairy Milk chocolate too, 4 bars for £1!

Well England have done it again. They have named a squad, called up a couple of players who are terrible and some have missed out.

Here is the 23 man squad, and the “standby” players.

Goalkeepers - Joe Hart, Robert Green, John Ruddy.

Defenders - Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, Phil Jones, Joleon Lescott, John Terry.

Midfielders - Gareth Barry, Stewart Downing, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Ashley Young.

Strikers - Andy Carroll, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck.

Standby - Jack Butland, Phil Jagielka, Jordan Henderson, Adam Johnson, Daniel Sturridge.

No places for: Rio Ferdinand, Daniel Sturridge, Adam Johnson or Micah Richards.

The big talk was who was going to be picked, Rio or John Terry, and they have gone for John Terry once again. I am not quite sure how he manages to get into squads, he should not have gone to the last World Cup with the Wayne Bridge fiasco, now the situation he is in now, and he still gets picked to represent England!?

Rio is not fit enough to play, so I suppose England can use that as an easy excuse for picked Terry, but why did they not pick Micah Richards over him? Or even Phil Jagielka?

Another laugh is Downing and Carroll, they have been TERRIBLE this season. For some reason the media are saying Carroll has “found some form” but he hasn’t really, and he isn’t a proven goalscorer at the highest level who is out of form, like Fernando Torres for example. I don’t understand how Downing can be picked over Adam Johnson, who is a far better player.

I really like Daniel Sturridge, he is worth a place in the squad. The only bright spark in the squad is Oxlade-Chamberlain, if he plays I think he will do well.

Steven Gerrard is the Captain of the team.

Wow what a big shock the squad announcement is. First of all, players from Chelsea, Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona have not been put into this squad, as they still have remaining games to play. Still, this 20 man squad of players brings many surprises and new names, as well as recalling some fringe players for the Spanish National team.

Here is the list:

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas, Pepe Reina and De Gea.

Defenders: Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Juanfran, Albiol, Jordi Alba, Monreal and Domínguez.

Midfielders: Xabi Alonso, Cazorla, Silva, Navas, Bruno, Isco, Beñat and Javi García.

Strikers: Negredo, Soldado and Adrián.

With the Euro squad being only 23 players, either some big names will be dropped, or many on this list will not go to the Euros.

The biggest surprises on the list are Isco, Juanfran, Domínguez, Beñat and Javi García.

However not on the list who could go are Victor Valdes, Pique, Iniesta, Xavi, Cesc, Busquets, Javi Martinez, Fernando Llorente, Mata and Pedro; With others such as Iraola, Thiago and Muniain could get a call up. What about the forwards? David Villa and Fernando Torres are not on the original list, with the injury to Villa and out of form Torres, surely they BOTH cannot get ommited from the final squad?

It looks certain that Puyol will miss Euro 2012

After the Champions League/Copa Del Rey finals players from those clubs may get drafted in, and the final squad must be submitted on 27th May 2012.

I am on the look out for a casual shirt or two. Here are a few I like.

My favourite out of these 6 are the Blue and Orange Cheap Monday shirt pictured in the middle of the first 3 images, and the Nudie Gunnar Organic t-shirt. The Nudie shirt looks fantistic and the colours used really compliment each other well. The Cheap Monday option looks very good too, with the use of blue white and orange.

Hey blog!

Yeah it is another Monday and back to work we all go Football is over, well the English Premier League, for another season, it always feels strange when the season comes to an end. This year is different, The Euros are on in June, not only that there is the Olympics on too! We are covered for things to do and watch over the summer.

I might buy another shirt or two. Last year I got into wearing casual shirts, I like them, they are a nice change from just a tee and add a bit more diversity to your wardrobe. I have 5 or 6 nice casual shirts, as well as quite a few smarter and plain ones. Most are blue or blue based, I think I will go for a more red toned shirt.

It actually highlights lots of bad things about France, like all the French are racists who hate Americans/English, arrogant French men, crazy French people and so on. It seems quite nationalistic, it really doesn’t make you feel like you would be welcomed in Paris! It probably doesn’t help that I watched a documentary about this kind of thing only last week and that right-wing French politics is getting huge amounts of press in the UK lately. I love the whole ideology that we are all European and like to explore different cultures, this film sort of ruins my thoughts about it!

It is still a good watch, it is a good film, just not what I was expecting. They have also made a sequel, 2 Days In New York which actually comes out on Friday in the UK! (a weird coincidence?!). It has Julie Delpy again, and also stars Chris Rock.
