Jersey Shore are hitting Italy tonight!

The next season of Jersey Shore, which see’s them in Italy is on MTV tonight, from 9PM. I have seen the trailers for it, and it looks really good, it will be interesting to see them taken out of the U.S. and put into a foreign land.

Jersey Shore is another love it or hate it reality show, so if you love it remember it starts tonight

So Celebrity Big Brother 2011 started yesterday. I thought I better write a post, I dont plan on watching much of it, but its one of those programmes you say you wont watch but then find yourself watching The “normal” Big Brother follows the celeb version, on its new home, Channel 5.

So the celebs who are in the house are Jedward, Tara Reid, Kerry Katona, Amy Childs, Darryn Lyons and some other people, many of whom I havent heard of. If you want to know their names they are Bobby Sabel (a male model), Lucien Laviscount (actor), Paddy Doherty (My Big Fat Gypsey Wedding), Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff (ex of The Hoff) and Sally Bercow (wife of The Speaker in the House Of Commons).

My early money is on Jedward, Kerry or Amy; If I were a betting man.

Yes, you got that right! Its not a typo, not Jersey Shore, Mersey Shore…That is the name of the new spin off of the spin off. We have had Geordie Shore which is still on now, and MTV have decided that since it was the highest rated show in 3 years to make a different version situated in Liverpool and call it what else, Mersey Shore.

I did hear whispers about this months ago, maybe they were waiting to see the reaction and ratings of Geordie Shore before they took it further.

So, Newcastle and Liverpool done, What is next? It does seem a bit cheap to just do spin off after spin off;

If you are from Liverpool I wonder if it goes down as badly as Geordie Shore has in Newcastle?

I can hardly wait!

Yet, I am sad. Entourage, my favourite show is starting and ending again soon. Season 8 will be the last, and there are plans that a film will follow.

But I cant wait for it to start again. It all begins on 24th July on HBO if you live in America. If you are in the UK like me, it will follow. I asked SKY Atlantic via Twitter who said it will be airing sometime next month. That’s the official word, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was early August, still its not too long! I am not sure how far behind the UK may be, it could be a few days, or even a day, which would be great. We will just have to wait until they announce it. Its on a Sunday in the U.S. and usually a Thursday here, so it may be 4 days after the U.S airing, or they may delay it longer, I am not sure yet.

It should be good, I hope so anyway

So I have never blogged about girls for a long time, and we have a new super hot girl on the screen, Agne Motiejunaite, aka Agne from Made In Chelsea.

Well apparently the judges for the UK X Factor for this year will be…

Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland (Destiny’s Child) and Tuilsa Contostavlos (from N Dubz).

I think that the only thing missing is they move this to some random SKY channel that nobody watches…I think its a bad move changing 3 of the 4 judges which have been on the show for a while. Maybe Simon Cowell is busy with other things, but I am sure he could of came up with a better lineup. Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow, they are fine, but Tulisa and Kelly Rowland, well not so much.

Kelly Rownland who I like as a singer, loved in Destiny’s child, but she isnt too famous over here on her own. She isnt famous enough for prime time tv. Tulisa, well I have no idea what to think, its a bit low rent, no?

The UK needs a new show, a new X Factor which isnt the X Factor. I can see this struggling in the ratings, and I dont think it will return in 2012. Just look at the acts it has produced, more or less none of the winners have done anything! I have said it all along, the only TRUE global star from these shows has been Leona Lewis, and nobody else. There have been a few national successes like JLS, but they didnt even “win” the show, Will Young did well from Pop Idol and Girls Aloud also did very well from Popstars The Rivals.

I think we will see how much the we like watching for the original judges, they are a big part of the show, and are now all gone apart from Louis.

Another week begins and its the start of another reality TV show. Made In Chelsea starts tonight, I think I will give it a watch and see what its like.

It is probably like the rest, there is Geordie Shore which is coming in 2 weeks, about my very own Newcastle, we have “The Only Way Is Essex” which is on ITV2, and now E4 have a version, “Made In Chelsea”.

What’s it about? Young socialites, rich people, parties, well dressed and well groomed, these are the things we are being told.

Maybe because its I watch less TV, or not much E4 or C4, but this doesn’t seem to have been hyped much. Nevertheless I shall watch this, which starts tonight
